STARKON multi-lug spreader beams provide a choice of connection positions for lifting cargo with different lifting-point spacing. Our standard range covers 25 to 350 tonnes working load limit (WLL). Beam length, lug spacing and the upper and lower rigging arrangement are selected for your load, centre of gravity and available headroom.
For port and terminal breakbulk handling, heavy machinery, fabricated steel structures and industrial assemblies. Also described as multi-lug lifting beams or multi-point lifting beams, the equipment is specified around the complete lifting arrangement. Non-standard capacities, dimensions and interfaces are available on request.

What is the standard capacity range?
Standard WLL range: 25–350 tonnes. Tell us your required load and lifting arrangement so we can specify the suitable beam.
Can I specify a non-standard beam?
Yes. Capacities outside the standard range, different beam lengths, lug layouts and machine interfaces can be discussed on request. Send a drawing or sketch of the load and lifting points.
Does every lifting point have the same WLL?
The 25–350 tonne range describes available beam ratings, not the capacity at every lug. The permitted WLL is defined for each beam and approved rigging configuration, including connection positions, sling angles and load distribution.
Which details are needed for a lifting-beam quotation?
Send the cargo weight and centre of gravity, lifting-point spacing, required beam length, available headroom and machine interface. Include the intended sling arrangement and each load case.
