Understand the problem
Impact and vibration at the boom hinge can point to wear or a discontinuity in the short rail transition. STARKON examines the rail ends, supporting arrangement and transition geometry before defining replacement components.
Prepare the workshop scope
Workshop preparation connects the measured hinge arrangement to the short rail components and their supports. The work can include manufacture of replacement sections, support correction and machining to the agreed crane-specific drawings.
Plan the on-site work
During installation, the condition of the rail bed and the alignment of the transition are checked together. Access, boom position and the available shutdown window shape the execution plan. The completed transition is assessed as part of the agreed handover.
