Understand the problem
Wear at rail joints, movement in fastenings and irregular support can affect trolley travel. Before specifying replacement rails, STARKON reviews the running surface, rail profile, joints, pads, clips and supporting rail bed as one system.
Prepare the workshop scope
The preparation stage brings together the available drawings, measured geometry, component requirements and access arrangements. Rails, clips and soleplates are prepared to the agreed design; rail bed correction or machining is included where inspection shows it is needed.
Plan the on-site work
On site, removal, support repairs, installation and alignment are coordinated around the agreed crane shutdown. Geometry checks and the completed scope are recorded for handover. The aim is to address the support and alignment conditions behind the rail problem, as well as the worn rail itself.
